The Bones Medical Foundation is dedicated to creating a brighter future for children who suffer significant impediments on their path to adulthood. We must support the parents who raise children and the communities in which they reside if we are to assist children.
The main goals of our work are to strengthen social sector leaders who are committed to enhancing the lives of young people, increase economic opportunity for children, transform struggling communities, and ensure that children have strong, supportive families. In order to achieve these goals, we invest in innovative concepts, methods, and policies that have the potential to improve the lives of millions of people. As a result, we are highly picky about the grants we approve.
Our programs work both independently and in collaboration to award single-year and multiyear grants that fund health related operations, projects and activities advancing strategic objectives.
We fund programs that inspire bold ideas and encourage solutions rooted in health equity.
Through an innovative collaborative model, we support the medical research of world-class scientists investigating chronic infectous diseases from multiple perspectives.
We focus on enabling healthy and resilient communities by funding initiatives that address environmental health, disasters and pandemics.
Building on what we already know, The Bones Medical Foundation is redefining the way we care for disabled to help protect people who have been marginalized in Norway and around the world.
